What's the difference between FareShare and Food Not Bombs?

Food waste occurs at many levels in the supply chain.

Food Not Bombs collects food which hasn't been sold at the end of the day by shops and markets.

FareShare collects waste higher up the supply chain - the warehouses and manufacturers who supply supermarkets and shops.

Hence, the two complement each other because FareShare cannot afford to take the smaller and more dispersed food further down the supply chain.

FareShare is a large established company with fleets of lorries.
